SEND Coffee is a non-profit organisation established in 2020. We are a coffee roaster with a collection of award-winning cafes in London, which double as training sites.
Our main mission is to collaborate with young individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, guiding them towards careers in the specialty coffee and hospitality sectors.
We also collaborate with coffee industry peers and aim to shift the needle on accessible opportunities in the industry and contributing to a culture of increased acceptance for young adults with special needs and disabilities.
Our initiative was launched by a group of seasoned coffee experts who have collectively launched more than 100 cafes globally, guaranteeing top-notch educational opportunities for our students.

Hospitality training
We offer a comprehensive training program tailored to each learner, teaching hospitality and barista skills. Participants engage in hands-on learning for an entire academic year, honing their abilities alongside essential life and interpersonal skills.
We facilitate connections to employment through our second year support structure. Working alongside our Alumni Manager, we help prepare our graduates for the interview process, job trials and integration into new work environments.
As of 2024, we have been recognised by Ofsted twice as an outstanding provider for our training course.

SEND Coffee
We specialise in single origin and single varietal coffee. This ensures a consistent and stable product while providing a clear route to ethical sourcing and favourable pricing for the farmers.
We have dedicated Q graders ensuring our beans meet our standards of specialty grade through both quality and taste both in store at our cafes and retail.
What’s more, every bag of our coffee comes in our award-winning accessible packaging, designed with colours which are easier to view for those with colour blindness.
WHOLESALE
Our bustling wholesale team is dedicated to providing a range of specialty quality coffee to a a diverse list of clients, from offices to independent cafes to retail sites.
All proceeds from our sales go directly back into impact work for our learners to achieve independence and learn valuable life and work skills.
Events
Pop-up coffee solutions, team training – we’ve got you covered with our mobile set-up and our coffee cart. We offer all the barista-crafted drinks you would expect at our coffee shops, and even espresso martinis in the evening! All funds raised go straight into funding our mentoring programmes.
