Why have I been given free coffee?

A black card with gold letters spelling SEND Coffee, and VIP Card.

You may have recently received

One of our exclusive, SEND

Gold VIP Cards. Congrats!

We give these out to lucky individuals who have meaningfully supported our mission to help people with disabilities in the UK Coffee industry.

These include;

  • Former Key Staff,

  • Major Donors,

  • Wholesale Partners,

  • Competition Winners

  • Our Beneficiaries

  • Friends and Family

  • Disability Advocates

Congratulations on making the cut! You are now the lucky owner of one of our VIP Cards, and we bet your first question is what do you get with it? The answer is simple;

You now receive 1 Free Coffee A Day from any of ours shops!

There are some obvious terms and conditions, such as that we reserve the right to revoke this if anyone is abusive of either the system or any of our team. But all we ask in return for this amazing gift is the following;

  • Please consider bringing people with you to our shops and spreading the word about our coffee.

  • If you win the lottery, or if you’re running a marathon any time soon, consider donating to our life changing work.

  • If you haven’t already, leave our team a nice review. We read every single review as a team and nice words mean so much to us.

Where can I use this?

The shops where this card is valid are;

  • Kitchen Coffee Fitzrovia

  • Curators Coffee Leadenhall Market

  • Clarnico Coffee Hackney Wick

Please remember, some wonderful businesses stock our coffee but are not our shops, and if you see our beans in the wild it doesn’t mean the card would work as you might be in one of the amazing places that support our mission.

When does it expire?

If you received this card as a competition winner it will expire at the set date we let you know of on receipt. This includes our winners of ‘favourite customer’ cards, or raffle winners.

We reserve the right to revoke this offer at any time, and for any reason. However, until that time, this card does not expire.

What drinks can I get with it?

Any coffee is valid with this card. Yes, this includes rare guest filters, pourovers at shops where we make them, and even mochas.

We might make a tea if you ask, but it’s technically not meant to be for them. We can’t do matcha or any other non coffee drinks on these, please remember we buy them in.

How do I use it?

Please show our team your card as you place your order. Please try to let them know as soon as possible so it’s easier for them to put it through correctly. Please also bear in mind you might be ordering with one of our trainees or someone new, so we ask you to be kind as they might be learning or it might be their first day. If someone doesn’t recognise the card straight away or if there are any mixups please just let us know either on our contact form or our insta, and we promise we’ll fix it with a refund or similar.

Can I order drinks for my friends with this?

Yes, but the one drink per day rule still applies. However, we would ask you please do not give it to someone else, or if you do let us know - we won’t tell you not to, we just want to make sure any lost or stolen cards don’t get used.

I lost my card - can I have another?

We will review this on a case by case basis. Please just drop us an email. We will definitely want to replace your card, but we just want to make sure we’re sensible about how many of these are in circulation.

Why are you doing this?

SEND Coffee exists because of so many remarkable people. Everyone who receives this card will almost certainly be someone who has supported our work, and in turn has meaningfully changed the lives of young people with disabilities for the better.

Whether you’re someone who used to mentor here, or someone who helped us through a difficult time, or even just a particularly well loved customer in one of our shops, you have been part of something bigger than just a coffee shop. You’ve given adult life skills to people who deserve help, and made the coffee industry a kinder place. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
